Closing June

This has been a busy month. So much to blog about and so little time. I had wanted to get some pictures up of my family both human and canine but it hasn't happened. We have grandson, Tucker who is 5 months old living in Killeen, Tx with his mom Erin and dad Scout. And then there is Scout Jr. who is nine and lives in Tennessee with her mom.

Daughter Meghan and her husband, Justin gave birth June 11th to an 11 pound 3 ounce girl. She was 22 inches long. Wow!! Meg had her by c-section. Good thing huh!!! Her name is Teagan Rae Nastansky. Mom and baby are doing great. Pictures of both coming soon.

Jon went to California to attend his daughter's wedding in June as well. Debe married Dave. He also got to see sons Josh and Tim and grandaughters Elizabeth (17) and Emma (soon to be 4). His dad Clyde (87) and his wife Betty were also there from Sandwich, Illinois. Jon also got to see his Aunt Lola while he was down there who is doing really well at 93. I wish I could have joined him. He had alot of fun in the sun!

Tomorrow is the last day of June. We are leaving the month in 90 degree temperatures. Hot for this part of the world. It is literally rain or shine here. Good bye June, see you next year.

My Babies R Having Babies

Today is the day before Teagan arrives. My youngest daughter Meghan is having a c-section tomorrow. She is quite nervous of course. I will be there if I am needed. More on this subject later.

My oldest Erin has a four month old. Tucker was born January 26th. What a cutie. I will post pics soon. Meg and I went to Texas in March when he was 2 months old. What fun. I loved it. Erin is doing such a great job being a mom. Especially with husband "Scout" currently being in Iraq.

It's Embarassing!!!

I've decided to start this blogging thing all over but maintaining my original postings few as they were. I never followed through and I'm hoping the things I want to blog about will motivate me to do so.

It's going to be a potpourri of our life. Whether it's one of our five kids, 6 dogs, 5 birds, 2 cats and the ever growing number of grandchildren. I want to include past things whether it is about the half dozen goats we used to have to gerbils and guinea pigs. There was a hedgehog too that my girls don't let me forget what I did that led to his demise. Stories, told my way!!!

I will have to learn how to post photos and make links to other blogs or things of interest. But I am up for the challenge. So tune in and see if you like to read about our life.
